Youth Press 250
Documenting America's 250th Anniversary Summer Through the Lens of 14 Year-Old Twin Journalists. Real People. Real Stories. America at 250.
About Youth Press 250
Youth Press 250 is an independent, youth-led media and documentary production company co-founded by 14-year-old twins, Ethan and Ella, capturing America's 250th Anniversary summer through the youth lens and authentic grassroots journalism. Ethan and Ella are traveling across the country to festivals, national celebrations, community events, and public gatherings, conducting 60-second, 1-question on-camera interviews with everyday people, just like you. Each interview asks simple, yet powerful questions, like "What does America's 250 summer mean to you personally?" or "What is your family's American story?" This unique approach creates genuine connections that traditional media outlets rarely achieve, resulting in an unscripted, nonpartisan oral history of America at a singular historic milestone. It honors the real story and triumph of America—"We, the people"!
What sets Youth Press 250 apart is our commitment to amplifying the voices of ordinary people rather than pushing a predetermined narrative. As an entirely youth-led initiative, we bring an authentic perspective that resonates with audiences seeking real stories from real Americans. Our young, mission-driven company operates independently and without partisan bias, focusing purely on documenting public sentiment during this once-in-250-years commemoration. The footage we gather will contribute to a documentary release in 2027, creating a lasting archive of how Americans experienced this historic moment. Find us and add your voice to the American story!
